YKVN is advising VPBank on US$1.5bn strategic investment from SMBC

YKVN is advising Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank) on the issuance of shares to Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC).

As a strategic investor, SMBC will acquire shares through a private placement which represents 15% of VPBank’s charter capital, valued at US$1.5 billion.
